WHAT’S UP WITH YOU?

Did it ever occur in your life
That you ask yourself a question
What am I here on earth for?
It seems that nobody seems to mind,
seems to care..
Is there someone destined
To be with me forever?
I hope…

To love and be loved
Is the sweetest thing that you can be in
To fail and broke a fragile heart
And later find yourself
In front of the mirror, crying…
Feeling sorry for yourself
Don’t be….

Two faces of reality
Is that when you fall in and out of love
Though tough, it may seem
Everything happens for a reason
Sooner or later
You’ll see….

In our eagerness to find and catch love
We often fail to realize
That the person who truly loves us
Is just behind us or at our side
We become selfish and self-centered
Which we shouldn’t be
Oh no…

But one thing I have realized
That letting go of a love
Not meant for us
Doesn’t mean we stop loving
It simply implies that
We allow ourselves and the person we love
To find each true happiness
To move on, learn, and grow
Which we should be.

Sad but true
Not all things turn out
The way we want it to be
What is most rewarding is that
Above all, we learn to accept
Be happy for each other’s chosen path
And hope for a new and better person
To come along, that is meant for you
I believe in that.

Trial and error it may seem
That’s what life is
The phase of loving
And I thank God
I learned all of these
You know when?
The moment I met YOU!!
