Dark shadows lingered upon my soul
Pushing me through the steep edge of life
I stumbled and fall
The pain it cause can lead me astray.
Through the corner of an unknown
I lay there, helpless
In need of sympathy, in need of love
Of people besides me.
The cry of bitter ignorance
Still haunts my ears
I have longed for justice, for inner peace
But no one dared to heed my silent pleading.
I stand up upon falling down
Hold my shuddering knees
Walked without fear in the valley of darkness
Coz I know God is there to guide me.
I soar up on the dark clouds
In hope of a brighter tomorrow
Beyond the towering darkness I could see
The pinnacle of success was within my reach.
I spread my wings and let it fly
And it soars freely above the sky
The fears, the pains and obstacles of life
Have wholly been vanished.
No one can presage your point of view
For success lies within yourself…
